The meeting discussed the situation of workers, particularly with regard to salaries, wages and the efforts exerted by the government to pay salaries of the state staff, the public and mixed sectors and workers.
Dr. bin Habtoor confirmed that the government is working hard to provide the cash liquidity to cover the necessary requirements, including the salaries and wages.
The secretary general of GFYWTU reviewed the difficult living conditions experienced by the staff and workers due to the delay in disbursing their salaries.
Bamehison affirmed that everyone understands the difficult and exceptional conditions being witnessed by the homeland due to the Saudi aggression and siege.
He appreciated the clarifications presented by the prime minister about the government's efforts to overcome the current challenges and to provide cash needed for the disbursement of the salaries and wages of employees and workers
