By: Abdul-Qayouom Allaw - SANA’A- Yemeni ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mr. Al-Ahwal said Yemen is witnessing advanced reforms to implement President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s electoral platform through a number of laws, most prominent of which being anti-corruption law with a higher committee, financial liability law, public job rotation law, bid and tender law, and the independent higher committee for the state’s projects.
Al-Ahwal said in a statement to almotamar.net that the relation between Yemen and Saudi Arabia is steady and gains strength day after day, a relation that is the same with the rest of Gulf countries.
Al-Ahwal praised the role of Riyadh and Gulf countries in preparing for London’s donor conference which will be held on 15 and 16 November.
The Yemeni embassy always visits and make sure of the condition of Yemeni expatriates in Saudi Arabia and solve their problems, al-Ahwal said.
“I would like to thank almotamar.net for paying attention to the expatriates’ issues in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world,” al-Ahwal noted.
