Akmotamar.net - SANAA-Almotamar.net has learnt from special security sources that preliminary investigations the accused of killing two security men and wounded a third in the early morning of last Monday in the capital Sana’a are from bodyguards of MP Mithhij Abdullah Bin Hussein Al-Ahmar.
The sources told almotmar.net that the perpetrators were caught and they are four, namely, Faisal Hadi Qatbash, Ammar Ahmed al-Shaibah, Ali Izzi al-Sahwish and Wasil Ahmed Hussein. They have confessed that they are of the bodyguards of MP Mithhij al-Ahmar, affirming continuation of investigation with the accused in preparation to send them for trial to receive the punishment they deserve.
The sources clarified the confrontation took place while security men were trying to stop an armed group in a Hilux car bearing no plate at Shahran crossroads in Hadda quarter. Asking them about their direction the armed men replied shooting with guns at the security patrol, killing three and wounding one soldier. Then another security patrol chased the perpetrators who took refuge at the house of MP Mithhis where there was an exchange of fire causing the death of one of Mithhij house guards. The sources said they security managed to arrest the four perpetrators and started interrogating them.
On his part Meal-Ahmar denied any connection with the group that clashed with the security force on Monday.
He clarified that the engagement happened with persons not from his bodyguard when security men stopped them and then clashed. he added the perpetrators to the other side of Street Khamseen and engaged with his guards and then took refuge at one of his houses which is still under construction and started shooting at the security men. he added that his guards tried to kick the gunmen out of his house one of them got killed and another was seriously wounded. Then they were arrested and handed over to security troops. Sheikh Mithhij said he expected to receive thanks for the help with security men. He demanded the concerned security apparatus to quickly interrogate the perpetrators and send them to court to be punished.
In 2007 the opposition Yemen Congregation for Reform (Islah) Islamic oriented Party maintained its having political and media sway over the Joint meeting Parties (JMP) block, also consisting of Yemen Socialist Party and the Nasserite Unionist Organisation.
Yemen is practically a cool green paradise, with crisp mountain air, enormous acacia trees, pristine coral reefs and verdant fields bursting with khat, a psychoactive plant that induces mild euphoria.
Sana'a: Yemen will not be able to combat terror without regional and international cooperation, said a Yemeni official, who warned of the ramifications of letting Yemen fight terrorism alone.
Doctors use the word “crisis” to describe the point at which a patient either starts to recover or dies. President George W. Bush’s Iraqi patient now seems to have reached that point. Most commentators appear to think that Bush’s latest prescription – a surge of 20,000 additional troops to suppress the militias in Baghdad – will, at best, merely postpone the inevitable death of his dream of a democratic Iraq. Yet as “Battle of Baghdad” begins, factors beyond Bush’s control and not of his making (at least not intentionally) may just save Iraq from its doom.
