almotamar.net - SANAA-President Ali Abdullah Saleh has praised the stands of the state of Qatar supportive to Yemen, evaluating the Qatari stand at the donor conference in London for supporting the development in Yemen.
President Saleh also extolled, during his meeting in Doha with Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani the Emir of Qatar, the growing level of relations of the two countries and their steady development.
The president also congratulated Qatar on the great preparations for hosting the 15th Tournament of the Asian Olympic Games, expressing his admiration for what he has seen of big architectural progress pointing out it represents a gain for the entire Arab nation as well as to Qatar.
On his part the Emir of Qatar praised the brotherly relations between the two countries affirming keenness of his country on enhancing and developing its relations with Yemen in various fields and congratulated president Saleh on success of the donor conference held in London.
The two leaders also discussed ways of strengthening and developing bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation in addition to exchange of viewpoints and current situations in Palestine, Iraq and Somalia.
