Almotamar.net - SANA'A- Twenty health ministers today starts the fourth Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria meeting, where they discuss the strategy of combating AIDS, TB and Malaria in the Middle East and North Africa.
During the four-day meeting, the ministers will discuss initiatives of moving private sectors in the region and the society's role, in addition to plans of achieving the millennium goals for improving health sector.
Participants will also evaluate the funds granted by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria to the Middle East and north Africa, and the way of running such funds.
The Global Fund has granted Yemen USD 32.7 million over the past five years to combat AIDS, TB, and Malaria.
More than 30 countries and organizations will participate in the meeting which is being held in Sana'a.
