Nabil Abdul Rab(almotamar.net) - SANA'A- The Parliament today discussed the budget for 2007, where the revenue according to the budget draft presented by the government estimated at one trillion, 622 billion, 490 million, and 837 thousand riyals, with an increase of over 392 million riyals comparing to last year's budget. The financial statement of the budget expected that internationally oil prices would range between 50 to 55 US dollars per a barrel. Yemen's oil revenues were estimated at 977 billion riyals, with an increase of 390 billion comparing to last year.
The statement expected Yemen's economy would increase by 5 percent next year and poverty decrease by 30 percent during 2006 and 2010.
The Parliament submitted the budget draft to a special committee chaired by vice speaker of the Parliament Ja'far Saleh.
