Almotamar.net - The leaders of Sana'a Gathering, President Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen, President Umar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir of Sudan, Prime Minister Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia and President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed of Somalia have Monday held a closed-door meeting in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
The meeting discussed the topics on agenda of the 5th summit meetings of Sana'a Gathering. The leaders have also discussed ways of enhancing relations of cooperation among the four states in all areas, in addition to consulting on developments on both regional and international arenas of common interest, especially, particularly developments in the Horn of Africa region, mainly the situations in Somalia.
President Saleh arrived in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa heading the Yemeni delegation to take part in the 5th summit of Sana'a Gathering that started on Monday.
On his leaving of Sana'a Airport president Saleh expressed his looking forward that the summit would live to expectations and ambitions to which the peoples of our peoples attach for the enhancement of cooperation and coordination among the Gathering states and to open expansive horizons for the joint action and exchange of interests and benefits for its countries and peoples. The president stated to Saba news agency that the summit is being held at circumstances and developments and events witnessed in the republic of Somalia as well as the developments of the situation in Darfur and all that necessitate to consider and to reach to solution guaranteeing help in reconstruction of what the wars in Somalia have destroyed and to find a peaceful solution to the situation in Darfur in the way realizing security, stability and peace in Somalia and Sudan.
