Almotamar.net - The new Yemen government headed by Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar has on Thursday gained confidence of the parliament with 196 votes in favour out of 221 who attended the session of the vote of confidence, 25 MPs refused to grant it confidence and 4 MPs abstained from voting.
Following a lengthened discussion head of the government evaluated remarks of the members of parliament and pledged to commit to recommendations that urged the government to offer more care to the expatriates and their sons and to support them with school curricula and teachers in order to preserve their national, Arab and Islamic identity, especially those expatriates in the United States of America and Britain.
The members of parliament also demanded reconsideration of allocation of financial resources and to concentrate expenditure on in the human capital through 3education and health, solving the problem of electric power for good so that to put an end to power cuts by the end of this year. They also demanded the government to carry out the second phase of the law of wages through this year and to render, ore care for the sectors of agriculture and fish to realize self-sufficiency and protect the fish wealth.
The parliament also stressed in its recommendations the free education until the ninth school year and exemption of students from school duties. They also demanded supporting the committee for fighting corruption to accomplish the tasks it is entrusted with, raising allowances of social security and encourage civil society organizations.
