Almotama.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh praised Friday the results of his visit to France and Egypt and the talks he held with leaderships of the two countries.

On his arrival in Sana'a Friday evening the president said the visit will strengthen the course of joint relations and cooperation between Yemen and each of France and Egypt with which Yemen is connected with concrete and developed relations at different levels.
President Saleh pointed out the desire he found out with leaderships of the two countries for pushing those relations and areas of cooperation towards more spacious horizons in the way that meets joint aspirations of the Yemeni people and both the French and Egyptian peoples.

The president affirmed that viewpoints were identical regarding the issues discussed with the French president Nicolas Sarkozy or the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak or king Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. The president met the Saudi monarch during his visit to France. The president added that viewpoints were identical with regard to efforts for enhancing opportunities of peace establishment and ending any tension in the region and fighting terror.
During his visits to France and Egypt president Ali Abdullah Saleh held talks with the French president Sarkozy and the Egyptian president Mubarak dealt with means of consolidating bilateral relations and fields of cooperation at various political, economic, trade, investment, cultural, security and military levels.

The president's talks also dealt with exchanging views about regional and international developments of common interest especially the situation in the Middle East region and the Horn of Africa, among them the situations in Palestine , Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia and Darfur and the ways guaranteeing the pushing forward of peace process in the region.
