The Abu Dhabi-based Fund approved supporting Yemen with $70 million annually for renewed financing paid as $35 million every six months. Saba news agency quoted the Yemeni commercial attaché in the Emirates Jamal al-Kawai as saying the fund informed Yemen on its official agreement in a letter it sent to Yemeni minister of industry and trade Dr Yahya al-Mutawakil. The attaché also pointed out that according to rules and procedures of the programme providing the financing will be carried out through one of the national agencies accredited with the programme in Yemen or through the ministry of finance or the central bank of Yemen, id the dealing was with the public sector.
