almotamar.net - Secretary General of the General People's Congress (GPC) Abdulqader Bajammal and with him the Assistant Secretary General Sultan al-Barakani and leadership of Youth and Students Office at the GPC General secretariat discussed Sunday with a delegation of the General Federation of Arab Students (GFAS) the ongoing preparations for holding the 2nd Arab Student Festival scheduled in Aden in the summer of this year.
Around 3000 Arab students and youths from different Arab universities and student and youth organisations from the Arab homeland in addition to Arab thinkers, the Arab League and the United Nations are expected to take part in the festival.
Chairman of the GFAS Ahmed Mubarak and the Federation's secretary general Nidal Ammar briefed the GPC Secretary General on programme of the festival and results of the federation visit to Aden to be acquainted with the sites for holding the festival at the youth and sport facilities at 22 May Stadium, the halls of Aden University and other sites.
Me Bajammal welcomed the organisation of the festival of the Arab Student in Yemen and said ," The festival would constitute a unitary activity of the Arab student and youth movement from the Ocean to the Gulf for deepening the Arab solidarity in facing the challenges encountering the Arab nation in its historical and civilized constituents and its geographical unity."
