Almotamar.net - Advisor to the President of the Republic Abdulqader Bajammal lauded the success achieved by Trustees Council of Hadramout University for Sciences and Technology saying it has moved important forward distances in building great educational academic edifice.
Bajammal, who presided over the fist meeting of the council added , " The university is still in need of completing the infrastructure in translation of the council's decisions," indicating that the working plan of the council is renewable and always developing in proportionate to requirements of human development and the urgent need for modernization of the educational academic process at faculties of the university and praised the role of members of the council and their contributions to meeting needs of the university and providing its requirements.
The meeting discussed the level of carrying out decisions of the council meeting held in 2007 and considered projects of the faculties buildings, those that have been constructed, and those under construction or proposed to be constructed in the next stage as well as getting acquainted with the progress of the educational process at the university's colleges.
After approval of the council members of the meeting agenda the president of the university Dr Ahmed Omar Bmashmous talked about what the council's previous meeting and its decisions of establishment of a college for nursing, the university mosque, completion of students boarding house, women's and children hospital and other facilities and organisations and the setting up of a committee in Riyadh for the follow-up of the council decisions.
After that the two businessmen Abdullah Ahmed Baqshan and Mohammed al-Amoudi announced the payment of $one and half million for building the nursing college provided that the council would secure the remaining sum for building the project.
