Almotamar.net - World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday praised level of performance of Health and Population Office in Thamar governorate and the health activities and services it offers such as immunization and reproductive health in villages lacking health facilities in different districts of the governorate.
In a letter sent by the WHO via its representative in Yemen Dr Ghulam Rabani Yuban to the governor of Thamar Yahya Ali al-Amri and Health and Population Office there , almotamar.net obtained a copy of it, the organisation affirmed that Thamar is the first Yemeni governorate applies the system of integrated health services , expressing its thanking to efforts of the governorate leadership and Public Health Office for those efforts and support for the success of health system.
The WHO pointed out the visit to Thamar made by Dr Mohammed Usama Marie, acting representative of the WHO Office in the period 8-9 of this month, as part of the organization's office of following up programme of health activities and the attention he found out of the governorate leadership and the Health Office in this regard.
