Almotamar.net - A few days after capture of 16 antique pieces policemen at a checkpoint of the cap[ital Sana'a Central Security men aborted Sunday an attempt to smuggle a 10-centimetre bronze statue before transferring it to the district of Hardh leading to the Saudi borders.
Members of the Central Security present at the entrance of Shatha district, Saada governorate found out the bronze statue depicting a man very carefully hidden inside a suitcase belonging to an assistant doctor. The man was travelling to the district of Hardh in Haja governorate on board of a car, carrying other two persons.
According to a report by Security Information Centre of the Ministry of Interior the security check [point men handed over the three persons, along with the bronze statue, to security authorities in the district of Shatha for interrogations before sending them to court.
