Almotamar.net - Head of the Information Office of the General People's Congress (GPC), the ruling party in Yemen, Tareq al-Shamy on Thursday ridiculed the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) repeated allegations that the GPC works for pursuing a policy of exclusion or crises, confirming that is not the pursuit of the GPC and the previous days proved that parties of the JMP have worked for excluding themselves.
The GPC leading official said at the time when the GPC has affirmed its keenness on dialogue and achievement of accord the leaderships of those parties proved they were practicing a policy far away from responsibility as if they understand nothing.
Mr al-Shamy emphasized that the homeland interest lies in the keenness on protection of security and stability so that al would resort to the constitution and shoulder the responsibility in dealing with constitutional dues away from the narrow partisan view. He reminded leaderships of the JMP that the people are capable of protecting their national accomplishments and preservation of the constitutional legitimacy, as they have preserved the achievements of the 26 September and October 14 Revolution in addition to the homeland unity.
Al-Shamy concluded his statement," We at the GPC will remain armed with the constitution and the laws and will work with the entire peoples of Yemen to protect them and the democratic pursuit that we would not back down from it or its mechanisms, at the top of which are the elections.
