Almotamar.net - Yemeni Shoura Council denounced Wednesday the arrest warrant issued against the Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir by the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor. Chairman of the Shoura Council, the Chairman of the Association of Senates, Shoura and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World (ASSECAA) Abdulaziz Abdulghani described the move as dangerous precedence in the history of relations between international organisations and the states in particular by targeting a head of a sovereign state performing his constitutional duties in the achievement of security, stability, people peace and preservation of the national sovereignty for Sudan.
In a message he addressed to chairman of the regions council in the Republic of Sudan Ali Yahya Abdullah Mr Abdulghani expressed solidarity of he Yemeni Shoura Council and strong condemnation of the movements of the ICC prosecutor that express intentions for keeping Sudan in the circle of violence and instability and standing against its legitimate aspirations for progress, prosperity and stability.
Chairman of the Yemeni Shoura Council, the Chairman of the ASSECAA also called for solidarity with the Sudan and condemnation of measures by ICC prosecutor and working together in keenness of the AAAECAA member states for the preservation of sovereignty and independence of the internal decisions meeting aspirations of their peoples and observing their internal interests away from any dictations.
