Almotamar.net - Social figures and sheikhs of Radafan in Lahj district have condemned all the suspicious calls and statements calling for hatred, demanding the citizens not to be dragged behind calls aimed at instigating seditions.
A statement, issued at the end of their meetings held on 19-21 of this month, confirmed that all stand by the government for deterring anyone thinking of violating public security and peace, stressing the necessity of respecting the law and order derived from the Islamic law.
The statement addressed all the inhabitants of Radafan who are loyal to sacrifices of their fathers and brothers in the fields of heroism and who recorded the greatest heroism for the victory of the Yemeni 26 September and 14 October Revolution and the achievement of the Yemeni revolution goals, mainly the unity of Yemen. The statement mentioned also about the active participation of the population of Radafan in defending the unity when it was exposed to the conspiracy of apostasy and he attempt of secession in the summer of 1994.
The statement called on all to stand strongly against all disturbances and sabotage acts carried out by those saboteurs. It said the city of Radafan suffered much of destructive acts that affected public and private installations.
The participants in those meetings addressed a telegram of congratulations to President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the 30th anniversary of the 17th of July in which they affirmed their loyalty and gratitude for the homeland.
Radafan sheikhs warn against provocation of seditions
