Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Thursday Saudi assistance minister of interior Mohammed bin Niaf bin Abdul-Aziz who conveyed regards of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, king Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdullah Aziz to him.
President Saleh discussed with the Saudi official aspects of the mutual cooperation between the two countries, especially security cooperation and combating terror.
The Saudi official highlighted efforts of Yemen in combating terror and achievements realized by the Yemeni security bodies to follow terrorists, pointing to the recent successful operation in Tarim city of Hadramout governorate, which resulted in killing five terror suspects and arresting other two.
President Saleh affirmed deep rooted relations between Yemeni and Saudi peoples, praising security cooperation between the two countries.
He asked the Saudi official to convey his regards to the king Abdullah Abdul Aziz and crown prince Sultan Abdul-Aziz, wishing them good health and happiness for the Saudi people.
