Almotamar.net - A number of Arab trade unionists participating in the 5th session of the Executive Council of the Arab Federation of Workers in Transport and Communication held in Sana'a on 20-22 August expressed their appreciation for President Ali Abdullah Saleh for the hospitality they received from him and his great interaction with the issues of workers and trade unionist movements and for his stands in support for the Arab nation.
In a statement to almotamar.net on Saturday the advisor to the Federation Mohammed Ali Faris described their meeting with the President as historic and unprecedented in Arab trade unionists meetings with regard to the level and the number and the manner. The President granted all members of the council silver medals in honouring of their struggle for the workers segment.
He added that the executive council and in its in appreciation for the President the Council decided to grant the President of Yemen an Order of Loyalty inlaid with gold.
In the same context Mr Faris affirmed the Arab trade unionists their adherence to the Yemeni unity and their categorical rejection of those violating it as well as their refusal of terror that Yemen has witnessed. He said the Yemeni unity is the only Arab one that has continued and would continue by the will of God and it represents nucleus for Arab unity.
