Almotamar.net - Member of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER), the Head of the Information and Enlightenment Sector at the Commission Mohammed al-Janadi has Monday expected the Commission receiving names of chairmen and members of the supervising and major committees taking part in carrying out the phase of revising and correcting tables of voters from employees of the ministry of education by the end of this week. He has also fixed the mid of this month as deadline for presenting the last statements of the names of chairmen and members of the sub-committees entrusted with carrying out the same task.
Al-Janadi made it clear that the SCER would write pledges for those chosen for the carrying out of the of revising and correcting voter tables, the number of whom will be more than 34thousand persons for carrying out the work impartially and independently as well as with transparency. He has meanwhile called on all political parties and organisations, civil society organisations and international observation to oversee all procedures related to the stage of revising and amending voter tables and the full electoral process.
Mr al-Janadi said the SCER has granted an enough space of time to political; parties to present their representatives in the electoral committees but no-response of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) despite of repeating dates forced the SCER to seek help of the education sector and that was under pressure of time.
