Almotamar.net, Saba - Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansor Hadi attended on Thursday a festival for youths, which was organized by the Ministry of Youths and Sports on occasion of the national day for childhood and youth.
In the festival, Hadi delivered a speech in which he said that the youths form 70 percent of population in Yemen which means that future power is the youths to build the nation.
He also said that there are 5 million female and male students who would be further power for prosperity of the nation and building new Yemen.
The vice president called on the ministry of sports and youths to adopt strategy which should be based on the electoral program of the president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
He affirmed importance of setting up more sport facilities across the country, calling on the youths to look for knowledge and practice sports as well as be far from bad habits.
For his part, deputy minister of sports and youths Hashid al-Ahmar affirmed concern of the ministry with youths, pointing out to the national strategy for childhood and youths which adopted by the ministry to improve skills of youths in different fields of culture, education health and other fields.
