Almotamar.net - The Yemeni Liquefied NaturalGas LNG Company on Friday denied completely the news reported in some news websites in Yemen, alleging that the company contracted with an Israeli company for implementing part of the gas exportation project.
An official information source at the company said the company would not sign any contract with any Israeli-origin company. Any presented tenders are subject to investigation and checking. The source added that many companies have been participating in partial works of the project but none of them is an Israeli company.
He added no Israeli party could sneak into the project as the government has a share in the Yemeni LNG Company through the Yemeni Establishment for Gas and the Social Securities Establishment. In addition, the Yemeni Minister of Oil and Minerals is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni NLG Company.
