Almotamar.net - Meetings of the Executive Council of the Arab Education office of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC begin in Sana’a on Tuesday on 12-13 May 2009.
A number of Gulf education delegations arrived in Sana'a to participate in the 67th meeting of the executive council for Arab Education Office for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) holding on Tuesday.
Deputy Education Minister , the member of the Expectative Council of the GCC Education Office Abdullah al-Hamidi told almotamat.net the meeting would discuss a number of topics , documents and reports , among them a report of the Director General of the Office on progress of carrying out programmes of the Office and its apparatuses for the financial session for 2008-2009 and revising the final account of the Office for 2007-2008 in addition to the proposed plan for application of outputs and publications and results of the Office programme of the member states. The meeting would also discuss the Office charter on ethics of education profession.
He affirmed that the Education Ministry is keen to benefit from programme of the GCC Education Office as they contribute to develop and modernize the educational process in member states.
It is worth mentioning that Yemen Education Ministry has set up a committee fore activation of benefiting from outputs and publications of the Arab Education Office of the GCC states.
