Almotamar.net, Saba - The King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa received in Manama on Monday Vice President of Yemen Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi who handed over a letter to King Al Khalifa from President Ali Abdullah Saelh related to the strong bilateral relations of Yemen and Bahrain and the two peoples and ways of consolidating them in addition to issues of common interest.
The Vice President also conveyed greetings and wishes of President Saleh to Bahrain King for good health and happiness and for the Bahraini people ever progress. The meeting discussed relations of cooperation and ways of cementing and developing them in addition to situations in the region and developments at regional and international levels.
The King of Bahrain welcomed the Vice President and his accompanying delegation expressing his satisfaction over the steady development of the two countries’ relations in various areas. He has also shown his country’s interest in development and expansion of cooperation in different fields. He pointed out the importance of the role the Bahraini-Yemeni Joint Committee to play in its first meeting in the near future.
King Hamad Bin Isa also confirmed his country’s siding with the Yemeni republic and keenness on preserving the unity, security and stability of Yemen. He also asked the Vice President to convey his greetings to President Saleh and his wishes for good health and for the Yemeni people more progress and development.
Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi arrived Monday in Bahraini capital, Manama, coming from Kuwait, where he handed over a letter from President Saleh to the Kuwait Emir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
Earlier on Monday, Emir of Kuwait Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah received in Kuwait on Monday the Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi.
Hadi handed over to Emir al-Sabah a letter form President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing cooperation in different aspects.
The letter also included the President's appreciation of the supporting positions of Kuwait for Yemen.
The meeting reviewed views on current issues and developments at both the regional and international levels.
