Almotamar.net - Twenty-six Houthi terrorists were killed during desperate attempts to for infiltrating into military positions in Harf Sufyan axis in Amran province in Yemen while five other insurgents were captured in the city of Saada before carrying out terrorist operations.

An official military source said armed forces, security and in cooperation with honourable citizens has repelled elements of rebellion and destruction in axes of sufyan and Al-Malahidh and Manba, aborting those elements infiltration attempts into some military posts. The source confirmed that military and security units inflicted on those elements heavy losses in men and equipment, indicating to the killing of 26 of their leading elements and destroyed quantities of their weapons and ammunition.
The source clarified that at 2:30 am on Tuesday elements of rebellion and terror committed aggression on citizens in Sufyan axis where some military and security units encountered them and inflicted on them heavy losses, killing a number of them and wounded tens of them and defeated their aggression. The sauce added that quantities of medium and light weapons of the terrorists were captured. The source further said that military and security men in Al-Malahidh sector inflicted heavy losses on the insurgents in their confrontation with those terrorists who were carrying out attacks on citizens' villages as well as a number of armed forces and security positions, inflicting on them heavy losses in men and equipment, among them a B 10 big gun and machine-gun 23.

A number of rebels were killed or wounded and others fled the area of Manbah area when groups of them committed aggression on citizens and attacked security forces there.

Meanwhile, a security source in Saada said on Tuesday five members of the elements of terror and rebellion were captured in Saada today. The terrorist cell was planning to commit terrorist acts while other three members of the cell have surrendered to authorities.
