Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has on Friday reiterated the call on the Houthi elements of rebellion and terror in Saada province to return to reason and commit to what was included in the government initiative of points for stopping the military operations in prevention of bloodshed and achievement of peace.
In his speech delivered on Friday to the Yemeni people inside and outside Yemen on the occasion of the 47th Day of the 26 September revolution and the 46th Day of 14 October revolution and the 42nd Day of the 39 November , President Saleh said, " It is an occasion on which we repeat the call on the elements of terror and rebellion that are still committing corruption on earth to return to reason and abide by what is included in the government initiative of points for stopping the military operations in prevention of bloodshed and in achievement of peace in Saada province and these elements should fear God in themselves and the innocent people that they are killing and the Yemeni blood shed and in the children and elderly people and women that those criminal elements killing and displacing them from their houses , plundering their property and creating their suffering and destroying everything."

Those who have been fighting the government forces for years in the north are short-minded and they are settling their accounts with the government or other foes at the expense of the country, and harming its image.

Saleh also called on the insurgents to learn from the past lessons, saying Yemen, despite problems, is able to keep its unity and defend accomplishments.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh affirmed democracy and political pluralism and their true exercising have become a clear sign and a crucial part of Yemen's political system.

It is impossible to make a tiny step back for the political system in Yemen, Saleh said, and errors resulted from our political experience can only be dealt with through more of democracy and deepening the experience.

He expressed his deep sorrow for those exploiting democracy and distorting its concept, committing irresponsible acts that aim to achieve personal goals and harm the nation and the people's interest.

"We all, the ruling party and opposition, are aware of that protecting the country and accomplishments is responsibility of all of us." "Any danger strikes our ship can affect all of us."

Saleh also urged all the Yemeni people and the political forces to align to face all obstacles facing their country through putting wisdom, respecting the other opinion, and dialog as the best solution to tackle problems above other options to deal with differences resulted from experiencing democracy.

He also urged all to stay away from all things that can lead to separation and disturbances as well as hindering the development and building up of our precious country.

Today, we receive revolution days with pleasure because they mean victory for the Yemeni people's determination to go free and get rid of backwardness and autocracy, he said.
