Almotamar.net - The Yemeni Information Minister the official spokesman fort he government Hassan Ahmed al-Lawzi confirmed Wednesday the presence of a clear role played by the sectarian authorities in Iran by many ways for supporting the gang of sabotage and terror in Saada province, north Yemen . Al-Lawzi revealed also handing over to authorities in Iran documents prove the Iranian involvement. He said, "No state can officially accuse another country and its official institutions without presenting clear proofs and evidence and the evidence we have condemns some references in Iran."

Interviewed by Al-Jazeera Satellite TV Channel on Wednesday, the Yemeni government spokesman pointed to the role practiced by Iranian official media outlets, whether the government-run or those led by religious authorities. He said, "Among hose is Tehran radio that practices open hostility against the Yemeni Republic and armed forces and security and its broadcasts many of commentaries that are improper for a state to interfere in affairs of another state, in addition to media outlets financed by Iran. There is also what Al Alam Channel broadcasts intentionally on such a subject that expresses of media support and then a logistic support."

Al-Lawzi added that promises by "our brothers in Iran of stopping those tools from continuing their hostility and interference in Yemen's affairs have regretfully failed."

He said," We respect Iran as a state and respect the Iranian people and he entire world should know that the first Arab state and the first Arab leadership blessed the present regime in Iran was Yemen that had sent a large delegation of scholars led by the then
Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed al-Juneid to congratulate Imam al-Khumeini. "

The Yemeni Information Minister reaffirmed seizure of a boat in the Yemeni coasts on board of which wee five Iranians offshore Midi , entering the Yemeni regional waters illegally, pointing out that investigations with those were going on.

"We should not jump to quick conclusions until the concerned apparatuses have completed their investigations and then the results reached would be announced."

Al-Lawzi added if there was tension with Iran it is attributed to the non-commitment by the brothers in Iran to stop the Iranian media instruments and those financed by Iran from interfering in Yemen's affairs and that Yemen welcomed the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister and that visit comes within the bilateral relations rather than in any other framework, meaning that " we are keen on tackling our internal affairs and do not want any country, whether Arab or Islamic or other, to appear that it has any kind of guardianship on any Yemeni citizen and through this perspective it seems the brothers in Iran understand clearly this stand. "

Al-Lawzi clarified that the armed forces and security in the three axes in Saada are carrying out their duties in operations of clearing, chasing, follow-up and selection of the clear and specified targets of the elements of destruction and terror and in clearing roads from landmines and capturing the rebels and perpetrators of the crimes of rebellion, sabotage and highway robbery in Saada province and Harf Sufyan.

The minister said Yemen's geography is composed of mountains, valleys and deserts, especially Saada province as its geography is guarded with a network of mountains in the north and the west, confirming that the armed forces and security are besieging all forms of supplies that can possibly reach to the rebels and highwaymen.

He said the victory might be tomorrow or day after or in the foreseeable period of time, adding that people live, dream and long for a comprehensive victory to end this sedition at a near time.

He called the attention to that what is going on in Saada and Harf Sufyan is a guerilla war, a hit and run. The rebels have been hunted at many of the positions from which they were launching their attacks and heavy losses were inflicted on them .he said in consequence they have begun attacking remote sites just to appear they are present in all districts.

The minister affirmed that on every day there are decisive victories achieved and weakness and death is enhanced among thee elements of sabotage and terror in Saada province.

Almotamar Net - Doctors use the word “crisis” to describe the point at which a patient either starts to recover or dies. President George W. Bush’s Iraqi patient now seems to have reached that point. Most commentators appear to think that Bush’s latest prescription – a surge of 20,000 additional troops to suppress the militias in Baghdad – will, at best, merely postpone the inevitable death of his dream of a democratic Iraq. Yet as “Battle of Baghdad” begins, factors beyond Bush’s control and not of his making (at least not intentionally) may just save Iraq from its doom.
