Almotamar.net - The preparatory committee for the international conference on the woman and sciences and development expressed Saturday its satisfaction over the preparations for holding the conference at Aden University. The conference is to study reality of the woman empowerment in areas of education, health, economic resources and sciences and technology in the developing countries.
A meeting by the committee, chaired by President of Aden University Dr Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtour, reviewed preparations of the scientific, organizational and media committees and the efforts for printing the researches to be presented at the conference in addition to formation of committees fore receiving participants in the conference from Arab and foreign countries and from local universities and establishments.
The meeting has also approved the detailed programme of the conference activities. The conference is organized by the Woman Centre Research and Training at Aden University. The conference would be held under auspices of Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar and lasts for three days starting from 12 December 2009.
The main research premises of the conference would be the Globalization, knowledge and strategic systems for the woman empowerment. The conference's premises also include issues of social gender, work and economic empowerment in educational and political areas, the natural resources of sustainable development, the migration, and the woman in sciences and technology.
