The plan Almotamar.net obtained has affirmed that the plan would in this year work for increasing he productive capacity of petroleum gas (LPG) to 900 thousand metric tons and to export 8.6 million metric tons of liquefied gas to the American and Korean markets and growth of added value of mining sector by a rate of 7.8% and conversion industry by 6.1% and growth of incoming tourism by 7% annually.
The government plan also expected drop of oil production by 6.6% and to work for meeting the local demand of oil productions in addition to growth of the added value of agriculture sector by 3% by as well as reducing plantation of qat to 9% of the total planted area.
The government plan also targets to achieve growth in the added value in fish sector by 6.2% annually, increase of commercial ports number to 9 and increase of the volume of maritime l shipment to 8.5 million tons of dry goods and 16.7 million tons of oil and one million containers.
The plan aims to increase international trips by 5% annually and increase of passengers on international trips by 7.4% annually and on the local air lines by 4.6%, international shipment on international lines by 8.1% and on internal lines by 4.6%.
The new government plan also focuses on the adjusted of the third economic and social development plan of poverty alleviation for the period 2oo6-2010 and the third stage of the national reforms agenda 2009-2010 and the ten priorities of the government directed to supporting the economic growth during this and the net year to carry out the election platform of President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
