Nabil Al-Yousufi - Shabwa (Yemen) - Leaders of the Nasserite Unionist Organization (NUO) in the governorate of Shabwa *east of Yemen) announced Wednesday their resignation in a body from their political organization and from the opposition Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) bloc in Yemen.
The UNO leaders have ascribed their resignations to their refusal to continue as vehicles to who they described as elements intending to exploit the democratic climate in Yemen to impinge on dignity and unity of the homeland an to drive it into furnace of regionalism and faction characterized by secessionism. The resigning leaders announced in a political statement, the almotamat.net received a copy of it, accused leaderships in their organization and the JMP privileges at the expense of people suffering and investment of the poor pains to achieve material gains.
Almotamar.net correspondent in Shabwa mentioned that the leadership of the NUO branch held on Wednesday a pres conference to which they called all local media instruments and announced its resignation from the main leadership of the NUO for many reasons. The mentioned that the main reasons are that there those who want to take advantage of democracy to impinge upon the homeland’s dignity and unity of the people and to drive it into the furnace of regionalism and groupings bearing the flavor of secessionism as well as bidding on the symbol of unity and democracy president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
At the forefront of the resigning leaders of the NUO are Saad Abdulhaq, secretary of the organization, Mohammed Abdullah Ba-Ali the assistant secretary, Uthman Mohammed Abdulrahman, finance official , Salem al-Khidhr Ba-Ali in charge of audit and inspection of the organization.
