- President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived on Tuesday in the Russian capital Moscow on an official visit.
During the visit, President Saleh will hold talks with the Russian leadership over the enhancing the cooperation relations between Yemen and Russia in political, cultural, military and security areas.
Saleh and the Russian leadership will review efforts of combating terrorism and piracy in addition to the last developments of common concerns in the region and the world.
President Saleh landed in Russia coming from Egypt, where he held talks with Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak on the outcomes of the meeting of the five-party Arab committee held on Monday in Libya.
Saleh and Mubarak discussed advancing the Arab joint action and the latest developments in the region, topped by the situations in Palestine, Iraq, Somalia and the African Horn.
