Almotamar.net - Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim Ismael al-Arhabi emphasized keenness of the Yemeni government on speeding up the rate of normalization of humanitarian situations in Saada and removal of sequels of the latest war.
During his meeting on Sunday with the World Bank (WB) team and the joint United Nations organisations concerned with supporting the humanitarian relief efforts in Saada, al-Arhabi praised the keenness displayed by international non-governmental organisations in supporting the efforts of the Yemeni government in this regard.
The meeting has discussed a group of issues relating to enhancement of cooperation between the Yemeni government and the WB and the UN organisations in the area of humanitarian relief for the affected due to the latest war in Saada.
Al-Arhabi also praised contributions of the WB and the UN organisations to enhance efforts of the humanitarian efforts for the migrants and the persons affected as a result of the latest war in Saada. He confirmed that there were government efforts exerted for launching a reconstruction operation in the affected areas and overcoming ramifications of the war.
For their part members of the of the joint team of the WB and the UN organisations confirmed the keenness on continuing all aspects of available support to strengthen the activities related to efforts of humanitarian relief in Saada.
