Almotamar.net - The Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has on Monday reiterated emphasis on Yemen continuation of its efforts in combating terrorism in partnership with the international community, away from any foreign interference in its internal affairs. He said, “ We confirm here anew that Yemen will continue its perseverant efforts , without any leniency, in combating terror and uprooting it and enhancing its partnership and its effective partnership and cooperation with the international community for that , away from any intervention in its affairs. “
President Saleh added, “Our security authorities, among them the s special forces for counterterrorism, have proved their capability of undertaking their tasks and performing their duties in keeping security and stability and combating terror. They have achieved tangible successes in this regard, whether by dealing pre-emptive strikes the terrorist elements in al-Qaeda organisation or in arresting and chasing of all the sabotage elements and those violating the law and order and sending them to justice. “
In his speech addressed on Monday evening to the Yemeni people inside and abroad on the advent of Eid Al-Adha, the President said there is never any leniency with anyone thinking of encroaching the homeland’s security, stability and public peace or to violate the law and order. He added that Yemen is in a fierce war on all elements of terror and has been offering in this war dear sacrifice in lives of citizens, soldiers and officers who met martyrdom while performing their duty in preserving security and public peace.
