almotamar.net - Despite that the speech festival of the General People’s Congress (GPC) in Taiz today is still under preparation, the Joint Meeting Parties, JMP’s candidate speech festival changed into a demonstration in favor of Ali Abdullah Saleh. since early hours of today the Muslim Brotherhood Movement in Yemen”Islah” mobilized groups from residents of villages and countryside most of them children of no more 12 years age carrying banners bearing slogans of the Islah party and its candidate to presidential elections Faisal Bin Shamlan while the rest of pictures and slogans of other parties of the JMP were absent. This is an indication of the Islah domination over and superiority to other parties of the opposition JMP bloc.

The Islah members instructed their activists groups to move very slowly in the streets of the city and spread some tens of them in the main streets to slow the traffic movement to imply that there is large human gathering.
Te volume of participants is estimated at no less than three thousand people and no more than four thousand, most of them children. Nevertheless the GPC activists have changed the public squares and main streets of the city into moving festivals where there were chants singing for the life of president Ali Abdullah Saleh and the GPC dominated the festivals and at the same time thousands of electoral pictures and banners filled the gatherings, calling for electing the GPC and its candidate as well as many various chants insisting on election of candidate Saleh rather than Shamlan.
