Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended on Tuesday in the business capital of Aden a ceremony for honoring winners of the President's Award for 2009 at its 11th session.
The ceremony comes within the activities of the Fourth National Meeting of Creative Youth, who won the President's Award from 1999 to 2009.
At the ceremony, the winners were honored by President Saleh for their creative activities in the artistic, scientific and literary fields.
It is worthy to mention that 12 young men and women won the President's Award at its 11th session in seven fields, which are the Holy Quran, applied sciences, poetry, story, theatrical text, arts and singing, while the Awards were withheld in the fields of the natural sciences and music for not upgrading with the level of the Award.
The President's Award for youth was established in 1999 and specified and allocated to those who are under 30 years the fields of the Holy Quran, applied sciences, poetry, story, theatrical text, arts, singing, natural sciences, and music.
