Almotamar.net - The number of the victims of the blast incident at the ammunition factory in Abyan province, Yemen has raised to 37 persons killed 62 others injured, at a time the search was still going on for the rest of the victims.
An official source has held al-Qaeda militants and all those cooperated with responsible of that painful incident which claimed lives of innocent citizens from the sons of the area who were victim of a trap by those terrorist elements.
An official source in Abyan province has stated that the Governor General Saleh Hussein al-Zawari has directed the formation of a committee for immediate investigation I this human disaster caused by blast and fire at the & October Ammunition Factory I All-Hisn area, the district of Khanfar . The factory was seized on Sunday by terrorist elements from al-Qaeda organisation and those who cooperated with them.
The incident resulted in the killing or wounding of tens of innocent citizens who were urged by those terrorist elements for looting its contents. That caused the burning of the powder and explosives existed in the factory and resulted in big explosions and eruption of fire in it in addition to tens of killed or wounded and the destruction of the plant completely.
The source added that that the factory site was surrounded by those terrorist elements and did not allow fire brigade engines to get access to the factory to put out the fire and nor ambulance cars to carry the inured to hospitals.
