Almotamar.net, Saba - Sana’a-President Ali Abdullah Saleh blamed the joint meeting parties (JMP) for acts of sabotage carried out by bandits to prevent the supply of oil derivatives to the capital Sana'a and provinces.
This came in the president's speech on Friday at Al-Sabeen Square, where millions of citizens gathered from different provinces in an unprecedented mass rally to confirm their adherence to the constitutional legality and to declare their support for the GCC's initiative to resolve the political crisis in Yemen.
President Saleh thanked the crowds who he said represent the opinion of the majority of the Yemeni people, who have said yes to freedom and democracy and yes to Ali Abdullah Saleh in the presidential election in 2006.
These crowds represent a clear message to the inside and outside, and a popular referendum on the constitutional legality, President Saleh added.
"We say to those talkers through media these are our fans in Al-Sabeen Square, these are the silent millions of pro-constitutional legitimacy fans", he said.
Moreover, President Saleh expressed regret for the fibs promoted by leaders of the JMP, owners of vulnerable souls and apostates via satellite channels.
The masses in front of Sana'a University belong to the opposition parties, which reflect their size as a minority in the various elections, Saleh pointed out.
He renewed the call for the JMP to head for the dialogue in order to reach an agreement, so as to maintain security and stability of the homeland.
Concluded his speech, President Saleh greeted the masses of Yemeni people and personnel of the military and security institution wherever they are.
