Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Saturday evening arrived in Saudi Arabia for completing some medical examinations in the wake of the criminal incident perpetrated by al-Qaeda elements and behind them criminal elements. The incident targeted Al-Nahdain Mosque in the Presidency House while President Saleh was performing Friday prayers and with him were a number of senior officials of the state and a number of army officers where seven of the military met martyrdom.
Upon his arrival the President was received by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Assistant of the Saudi Defence Minister, Director General of Medical Services of the armed forces and number of Saudi senior officials and the Yemeni ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that the Yemeni parliament Speaker Yahya al-Raie , Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar , Chairman of the Shhoura council Abdul Aziz Abdulghani, Dr Rashad al-Alimi , Deputy Premier for Defence and Security Affairs and Sadeq Abu Ras, Deputy Premier fro for Local Affairs had arrived in Saudi Arabia two days ago for completing medical checking and treatment in the wake of the incident they came under while they were performing Friday prayers with the president of the Republic.
