Almotamar.net - Sana’a- Vice President Abed Rabou Mansour Hadi on Saturday received a letter from Catherine Ashton , European Union Representative for Foreign Affairs Security Policy in which she condemned the terrorist incident that targeted President Ali Abdullah Saleh and senior officials of the state in Al-Nahdain Mosque at the Presidency House.

That came during the Vice President of the Head of EU Mission in Sana’a, the British and the French ambassadors to Yemen.

In her letter Ashton the TU has followed up closely and deep anxiety the situation in Yemen over the past four months , expressing her sympathy with victims of the terrorist attack on al-Nahdain Mosque and those who died in that regrettable incident. She wished quick recovery for all the injured , at the forefront of who President Ali Abdullah Saleh , Speaker of the Parliament Yahya al-Raie , the ministers and Chairman of Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani l, and Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar , the Prime Minister , Dr Rashad al-Alimi and Sadeq Abu Ras.

Ashton has also pointed out the importance of all political parties sitting at the dialogue table in the way contributing to the peaceful transfer of power in organized and constitutional way in the way compatible with the Gulf initiative for the interest of the Yemeni people.

For their part ambassadors of the EU , Britain and France expressed their satisfaction for the measures taken in these difficult circumstances in Yemen at present , especially the stabilization of ceasefire and the work for ending phenomena of armament in the capital Sana’a considering that a an urgent necessity for consolidation of security , stability and public peace in the society.

On the other hand, the Vice President has received Saturday the US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein and both discussed the issues and topics related to the current circumstances in which Yemen is passing, especially after the savage attack on Al-Nahdain Mosque two weeks ago while the President, Chairman of the Shoura Council, Speaker of the parliament and the Prime Minister while they were performing the Friday prayers.

The Vice President discussed with the US ambassador the importance of maintaining the ceasefire and opening all roads and streets and not to attack the power plant that serves the people, considering it the ownership of the people rather to a party or sheikh or an influential person and what that is linked to pumping waters and life needs of the people.

The Vice President has called for resorting to reason and logic in this respect and to discuss things in their required topics.

The Vice President has appreciated interest of him United States of America and all the European friends in security, stability and unity of Yemen, expressing appreciation of the Russian and Chinese stands springing from keenness on safety and security of Yemen.

For his part the US ambassador has expressed readiness for exerting all efforts for overcoming these problems.
