Almotamar.net - Sana’a- Yemen Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi has met in Sana’a on Wednesday Gamal Bin Omar, the personal emissary of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Yemeni arena as well as the role of the United Nations in solving the crisis in Yemen and what the UN can play of role for activating the dialogue among various political parties.
Bin Omar has affirmed the call of the UN on all political parties in the Yemeni republic for entering into constructive dialogue, pointing out that the responsibility of reaching a solution to this crisis is on the shoulders of the Yemenis themselves.
The meeting was attended by the UN Resident Coordinator, the Resident Representative for UN Development Programme in Yemen.
