Almotamar.net - SANAA-An official source at the General People’s Congress (GPC) warned leaderships of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) against the practice of acts violating the law whose consequences will impact the homeland and the democratic process. The source linked what the JMP’s candidate, Faisal Bin Shamlan statements on oil in his election festivals in Hadramout, Marib, Shabwa and Abyan that were instigating the citizens there, to he acts of terror that targeted the oil and gas installations in the governorates of Marib and Hadramout.
The GPC source also announced the party’s condemnation of those terrorist acts and its demand from security authorities to conduct quick investigations into backgrounds and complications of those criminal acts and the parties behind them and arrest them and send them to court in public trials so that the Yemeni people get informed on the sides that direct and support those terrorist acts aimed at all the people and try to deform our homeland and offend it.
In his statement to almotamar.net the GPC source added the political and media address of the JMP, in its parties’ press and statements of its candidate in his election festivals, made oil wealth a major target of its election campaign as if the JMP does not realize that the oil wealth is the property of al the people and there is no room for critics and outbidders of JMP’s leaderships to obtain any illegal gains whatever the ways of extortion and pressure were. The source also expressed his regret for the JMP practices through the intentional processes of sullying the pictures of Faisal Bin Shamlan and putting the blame for that on the GPC>he said those practices are considered the beginning of the JMP defeat especially that the persons carrying out those acts have been identified as affiliates of the JMP.
The source ended his statement by saying the fact has become apparent to the people and the acts aimed at the homeland and offend it have become exposed after the cowards were unable to target the country’s oil and gas installations as well as the democratic process.
