Almotamar.En.Saba - Sana'a - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi reiterated Monday his commitment to hold the presidential and parliamentary election in the set date.
The President's statement made in a celebration held in the Presidential Palace in Sana'a to mark the first anniversary of the Gulf initiative signed in Riyadh on November 23, 2011 to end a crisis erupted early in the same year in the country.
President Hadi said that We are looking forward to see the political parties provide all harmony and accord factors, which would be reflected positively in the government's performance and dialogue's works.

Signing the November deal of power transfer [Gulf initiative] was not the end of the crisis, but it helped in alleviating the political tension and cease the armed conflicts, he said. In his part, UN chief Ban Ki-moon said "the transitional stages are always difficult." The transition to democracy requires an open reaction with the past, adding that the November deal has showed the need to the transitional justice and national reconciliation.
