President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Tuesday with Norbert Stier, the Vice President of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND).
During the meeting, the President and the BND Vice President reviewed the case of kidnapping a German citizen and the security services ongoing efforts to release him safely and arrest the kidnappers and bring them to justice.
They also dealt with the nature of the distinguished bilateral relations between Yemen and Germany and areas of cooperation and support in various fields, topped by security.
Hadi valued highly the support and assistance provided by Germany to Yemen to handle the challenges and difficulties during the crisis.
He stressed the need of Yemen to further support in economic and development areas to complete the transitional stage and move forward in the transition process occurred in the country.
