Almotamar.net - Chinese embassy in Sana'a handed over on Wednesday journalist technical equipment to Yemen News Agency (Saba).
The handover ceremony taken place in Saba during the visit of the Chinese ambassador Chang Hua to the agency's headquarters after being rehabilitated from the damage occurred during the 2011 crisis.
Saba Board Chairman and Editor- in-Chief Tariq al-Shami valued highly the Chinese support for the Agency and for the development process in Yemen as well.
He looked forwards to enhance the cooperation between Saba and Chinese News Agency (Xinhua) in all journalist and technical areas, saying that Saba has prepared an agreement draft to renew the cooperation agreement and would be sent to Xinhua to consider it before being signed.
For his part, Hua praised the deep-rooted relations tie China and Yemen, stressing that his country would continue its support to Yemen in various fields.
The Chinese ambassador said soon a Chinese language department at Sana'a University and Yemeni-Chinese Institute for Applied sciences will be opened soon in addition to opening Yemeni-Chinese friendship hospital next month in Sana'a.
