President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Sunday at the Presidential Palace sheiks and dignitaries of al-Mahra and Socotra Archipelago provinces.
At the meeting, Hadi indicated to the critical situation Yemen has been experiencing nowadays, which needs as he said all national efforts in order to translate the NDC outcomes on the ground. "Yemen has got out of its crisis fairly and honorable,'' the President said.
He confirmed that the cooperation by the international community averted Yemen from dragging into several risks and dangers based on the expending the responsibility, wealth, and power under a new federal system which would achieve justice and fair.
The President reviewed during the meeting a number of issues related to Yemen's situation since the seventies and after the unification in May 1990 which he described it as stages controlled by plots and conspiracies.
Hadi also reviewed various stages of conflicts in Yemen and the suffer of Yemeni people over the past fifty years.
Moreover, the President stressed the importance of exerting more efforts in order to make the NDC outcomes a reality on the ground based on a roadmap that would draw the features of Yemen's future and its progress.
"Experts have seen that transforming Yemen into a six-region federation would achieve widespread developments by giving opportunities and full authorities to officials within each region in order to raise the level of security, education, and public health services as well as other fields,'' the President mentioned.
During the meeting, a number of sons of the two provinces talked about several issues and topics which need to be handled by the president, where Hadi promised them to do so.
