Almotamar.net - President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Sunday the founder of Southern Movement Nasser al-Noba along with a number of leaderships and members of Peaceful Southern Movement.
Hadi at the meeting talked about measures and steps have been taken on the ground since the eruption of 2011 crisis until holding the National Dialogue Conference, NDC, with a wide participation of all political powers in the country.
He praised the NDC outcomes which came as a result of a consensus of all political powers and components and approved transferring Yemen into a six-region federal state in order to ensure the new future of Yemen.
"The federal system in Yemen is modern and it would overcome centralization in the country based on fair distribution on wealth and power,'' Hadi said.
President Hadi highly valued all struggles made by the southern movement members in southern province since 2007 in defending the southern issue through the peaceful southern movement.
He reviewed with them a number of issues and topics related to the southern issue and the solutions stipulated in the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and based on the GCC-brokered deal.
"We have approved several solutions for the southern grievances that resulted from the 1994,'' Hadi stated.
He added that we have tackled issues of officers and soldiers who were wrongfully dismissed or forced to retire along with land disputes through committees established for these proposes, saying that there are a number of decisions would be issued in this regard very soon.
