Charge d'Affaires of Yemeni embassy in Asmara the ambassador Mohamed al-Azzani said that the released fishermen are on their way back to Yemen, noting that the release process comes within the efforts made by the Yemeni embassy in Asmara and in cooperation with the Eritrean Marine Forces Command.
It is worthy to mention that 1,675 of Yemeni fishermen held in Eritrea were freed during 2013, while 567 others were released during the period from February to June of 2014.
