Director General of Post Office of Hadramut valley and desert ,Ibrahim Ba-shuaib, explained to Saba that 12 militants riding a car stormed on Tuesday evening the post office in Hura town after they fired at the office guard who died immediately.
The gunmen pointed their guns at the postal staff asking them to hand over keys of their offices and then looted over 1.6 million riyals was in the office, Ba-shuaib added.
He requested the local authority in Hadramout valley and desert to provide adequate security guards at the post offices to be able to provide their services for citizens naturally and safely.
