Almotamar.net - The Supreme Political Council strongly deplored some negative reactions made towards the formation of the National Salvation Government, saying the formation of the new government came in response to the will of the Yemeni people in the face of the Saudi aggression that targets the Yemeni people, their land and destroys all Yemeni resources.

The Political Council stressed in a statement on Wednesday that the formation of the government aimed to protect the state institutions from collapse, as well as preserving the security and stability of citizens and public tranquility of society and provide the needs and essential materials to keep the continuation of life of the people.

The Political Council expressed extreme surprise at the stances of the Arab League's secretary-general, as well as the United Nations special envoy to Yemen, saying their positions should be neutral and non-aligned to any party.
