almotamar.net - SANAA- An official source at the General Peoples Congress (GPC) denied Wednesday reliability of news on expected cabinet formation, indicating that the law does not force President Ali Abdullah Saleh who has been re-elected on 20 September to change the formation of the present government.
The source, who asked not to be identified, ruled out any cabinet reshuffle at the present, indicating that the present cabinet has been in office just for several months. He said if there will be any cabinet reshuffle it will occur at the beginning of the next year. President Ali Abdullah Saleh had last February issued a republican decree reshuffling the government of Prime Minister Abdulqader Bajammal.
Some media instruments had earlier mentioned that president Saleh was conducting consultations with a number of his advisors for the formation of new government to be headed a former deputy premier who had been relieved in the previous governmental reshuffle, instead of present prime minister Abdulqader Bajammal who was mentioned to devote himself to his party duty as secretary-general of the GPC.
